2022 Annual Report

Our dearest Wayfinder Holistics Community,

As we look back on the past year, we are filled with a deep sense of appreciation and admiration for the many achievements and milestones we have accomplished. In the midst of new and formidable challenges that we face with the climate crisis, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to creating a world in which humans and nature coexist in harmony. We're pleased to provide you with a copy of our 2022 Annual Report , which is attached for your reference.

Our steadfast dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion led us to welcome a group of Global Majority, youth for a day of learning this past April. The group was able to experience the beauty of nature and learn about the importance of seed propagation, health and wellness, and animal care. It was a privilege to provide these children with an opportunity to connect with nature and gain valuable new skills.

We have secured a lease on a new farm property encompassing 100 acres of depleted pasture in Fluvanna County. We now steward a total of four properties. We are eager to continue our work in restoring degraded soil and overgrown landscapes, and we are proud to announce that we have been granted entry into the Ecological Outcome Verification or EOV program through our partnership with the Robinia Institute and the Commonwealth Network, which will enable us to provide consistent and healthy food options for our region through our partnership with Commons Provisions.

As part of our unyielding commitment to cultivating edible landscapes, we have introduced several new plant species onto our land at Waddle Om Farm, and have greatly increased our planting of perennials. We have also worked tirelessly to plant over a hundred native and diverse trees on the Frasier property in partnership with the Frasier family and the James River Association. Our efforts to restore and rejuvenate the land are ongoing, and we will continue to monitor the growth and progress of these initiatives with great pride and dedication. Our unwavering dedication to the principles of regenerative agriculture and the interconnectedness of land, animal, and human health continues to guide us. At Millstream Farm, which we manage in Earlysville, VA, we have been able to put 400,000 pounds of carbon back into the soil over the last seven years. We have also transformed the property from a degraded, overgrazed farm to a thriving ecosystem with the installation of livestock waterers and fencing in partnership with local conservation groups.

In closing, we are proud of the progress we have made this year and humbled by the many opportunities we have had to make a positive impact on our region. We remain unwavering in our commitment to creating a better world for all living beings and are eager to continue our work in the years to come.

With gratitude and love,

The Wayfinder Holistics Team, Shankari and Dan Goldstein
